Tapered pre-engineered-building members can expose geometry and mapping differences when information moves from an analysis model into an IFC coordination workflow. The issue is therefore not solved by treating export as a single button press.

The exact export path should be tested against the project’s STAAD version, exchange requirements and receiving application. Engineering review remains necessary after translation.
